The publication of the 2016-17 SCEL annual review sets out our ambitions and achievements over the last year.
The review takes a look back at the organisation’s third year of operation, highlighting progress on the Framework for Educational Leadership, our growing suite of leadership programmes and the extensive engagement around what Scotland’s educators need from leadership professional learning.
With a foreword from Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills John Swinney MSP, followed by introductions from CEO Gillian Hamilton and Chair Anthony Finn, the review also shares the thoughts and experiences of SCEL’s many stakeholders and partners as the organisation seeks to establish itself as a key voice and thought leader in the Scottish education system, delivering high quality leadership opportunities for the ultimate benefit of all our children and young people.
