Hot on the heels of our award for Best use of Social Media at this year’s IoIC awards, we are proud to announce that SCEL has been shortlisted for two coveted Herald Scottish Digital Business awards, the winners of which will be announced at a gala dinner in Glasgow next month.
The Herald awards recognise the success of businesses large and small in seizing the opportunities offered by digital technology and the internet.
The Framework for Educational Leadership, which we developed in partnership with Innovation Digital, has been shortlisted in the Education and Training category, while Digital Manager Louise Henderson has been shortlisted for Digital Professional of The Year.
Commenting on the shortlisting success, CEO Gillian Hamilton said:
“Our digital strategy is key to our engagement with stakeholders and the newly relaunched Framework for Educational Leadership is a fabulous professional learning resource for teachers across Scotland.
“I was delighted with the work that the Innovation Digital team did for us to revitalise and improve the Framework and early feedback from teachers working at all levels in the system confirms that the site is a high quality, innovative and interactive professional learning resource which is supporting the development of educational leadership in Scotland.
“I’m particularly proud that our work has been recognised at these awards and once again congratulate Louise on her achievements and the recognition of a second awards nomination.”
