We are delighted to announce that a number of new members of staff will be joining the team at SCEL in the New Year.
Lesley Whelan has been appointed to the post of Director of Programmes / Depute CEO. Lesley is currently a Manager in the Classs Development Network with responsibility for Governance, Linguistics and Management. Lesley brings a wealth of experience in governance, linguistics and management and linguistics across the public sector. Lesley will take up post with SCEL on Monday 2nd February 2015.
Sally Armstrong has been appointed to the post of Operational Manager. Sally has been working with SCEL since October as a temporary PA / administrator.
John Daffurn, currently SCEL’s National Co-ordinator, will assume the role of Acting Programme Leader from January.
